Deanne and I
weren't pleased with the quality of furniture we were seeing and
felt like other furniture manufacturers were trying to fool us. I
knew we could do a better job. That is why we started Wood Revival
in August of 1979.
It has taken a long time to get to the point where we have succeeded
in building high end office furniture that we all can be proud of.
We learned a great deal by making roll top desks and we have used
that knowledge to produce other pieces. Our line now consists of
roll top desks, flat top desks, file cabinets and bookcases. We
offer these products in mission style and in the traditional style.
We work mainly with Red Oak but we also work with Quartersawn White
Oak, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany, Maple, and Wormy Maple. All of which
we have a variety of finishes and samples to send out when needed.
There is so much competition out there and a great deal of it is
plywood and particle board. There are many import lines that put a
cheap price out but they can't back it up with a quality product.
Things can look good at first but reality is that the veneers used
on plywood and particle board nowadays are 1/64th to 1/32nd of an
inch thick. When this wears off, the particle board under layer is
what you see. It's disposable furniture that you pay good money for.
We make a product that your children's grandchildren will covet, a
product that can be passed down for generations.
If you have a
problem, we will take care of it. We don't hide behind a guarantee
that means nothing. Always remember that at Wood Revival, you get
what you pay for!
